The Shell Australia Pty Ltd Crux gas field is located in Australian Commonwealth waters within the East Browse Basin, 620km NNE of Broome.
PAME was engaged by Technip Energies (T.EN Australia and New Zealand Pty Ltd) to provide pipeline installation and welding services for the hook-up and commissioning of the Crux offshore platform’s 26” Inconel CRA lined export riser. The successful scope of work included the development & qualification of project specific weld procedures, welder qualifications, project management, welding inspection, and the supply of a highly skilled offshore team.
